Dennis Kelley, founder of K2 Custom Builders, Inc. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business.  An opportunity in the construction industry presented itself and a new education, direction and passion began. Within time, on his own and through word of mouth, various new custom home and commercial projects evolved.  

A business invitation to the Cayman Islands resulted in immersion into the commercial construction venue. As the Project Manager overseeing various projects such as the completion of a bank , school, utility company control center and condominium complex,  experience and knowledge in the commercial construction arena was earned.

After several years spent in Cayman then moving to  Florida, both custom homes and commercial projects ensued. Another opportunity occurred in the mountains above Denver, Colorado where  the building of fine custom homes continued.  

Westcliffe, Colorado is now home, where putting over 45 years of experience to work has created numerous new custom homes, cabins and outbuildings , as well the offering of project management and CAD design services.  An everyday hands-on approach ensures client satisfaction is realized.
